This past October, Easthampton High School took part in a French Exchange with our sister school in Bretagne, France. Fifteen students from Lycée Saint Louis (a private school in Châteaulin, France) came to Easthampton from October 16 to October 24. They also spent two days in Boston exploring the city and visiting Harvard University in Cambridge. The French students stayed with their American correspondents and the two teachers, Magali Ropert and Olivier Tanneau stayed with two teachers at EHS. Come April 2018, American students will complete the exchange by traveling to Paris for four days and then to Chateaulin, France to stay with their French correspondents (April 11-April 24). This is an amazing experience for everyone; it is an immersion of culture that will stay with the participants for the rest of their lives.
